“I was invited by my friend, Marcelo, to listen to some live Brazilian music, Forro and Samba de Gafieira. I'm Brazilian but I'm not a big fan of that kind of music. Anyway I went and I saw Sonho Meu playing very well. I can recognize good music because I played in a punk rock band for more than 7 years in Sao Paulo, Brazil. When Marcelo told me that the singer, Diane, was not Brazilian I was shocked! Then, he said there were more Americans in the band. Congratulations, you should play in Brazil! I can say that you play better than some Brazilian bands. The rhythm is perfect and Diane's Portuguese sounds so clear.”
